Amazing experience learning self défense. We were welcomed with a smile as soon as we entered the gym. The facility is spotless and the staff are very attentive and truly want you to succeed in learning. Absolutely recommend trying an intro type class if you are curious. Other classes are also offered too!!
Been to a few BJJ gyms between Fredericton and Oromocto and Absolute is the best I've seen. The owner, Dana has done an incredible job of fostering a sense of community at this gym. All the folks here are incredibly knowledgeable of the sport and willing to share their knowledge with newer members. The instructors are patient and are great at explaining concepts and the "why" behind whatever techniques are being drilled at any particular time.
Can't recommend this place enough, 5 stars.
Absolute BJJ is a fantastic club with a great coach and a great team. Everyone works hard and learns lots. Dana is a amazing teacher and coach. I highly recommend absolute BJJ for a great work out, if you want to learn BJJ, and even if you just want to make friends as everyone is so friendly.
Was in Fredericton for only a couple of days so was hoping to find a place that I could train at. Dana was very kind and inviting and let me do a few classes at the gym. The people were fantastic and they all understood that I couldn’t roll too much and too hard and so allowed me to sit out whenever i needed. Great place to train and great people
